Because we believe that being committed to improving your office environment also means being committed to improving the environment we all share. Partition Systems Ltd. makes every effort everyday to see that the leading wall systems we sell have the least negative impact on the planet. We use mainly natural materials, and everything we manufacture is recyclable. Quality, efficiency, faster time to market, minimal environmental disruption and partnerships with environmentally responsible suppliers are all part of our business process. We’ve put systems in place to see that materials we produce can be easily recycled again and again. PSL uses a system of recycle bins throughout our manufacturing plant to sort remnant waste at the source into standard recyclable groups, these include Cardboard, Aluminum, Steel, Plastics and Gypsum. Our plant is heated by energy efficient radiant heat, and lighted by energy efficient lamps. Our forklifts have been updated to maximize fuel efficiency and where possible have been replaced with electric units. All our office paper is recycled, and we ship all our products with minimum packaging, which is made from recycled cardboard and kraft paper. |

What is the Greenguard Certification Program?The GREENGUARD Certification Program (formerly known as GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification) gives assurance that products designed for use in indoor spaces meet strict chemical emissions limits, which contribute to the creation of healthier interiors. Achieving GREENGUARD Certification gives credence to manufacturers’ sustainability claims, backing them with empirical scientific data from an unbiased, third-party organization. What is VOC?Volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from building materials and other sources. When VOC emissions are reduced, overall indoor air quality is improved. One way to improve indoor air quality is to specify a wall system that uses low-VOC emission products such as GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified vinyl wall coverings. Does Partitions Systems offer GREENGUARD?Partition Systems manufactures movable and re-usable wall systems that includes a wide variety of vinyl wall coverings offered by Omnova Solutions Inc. Many of these vinyl wall coverings have the GREENGUARD Certification, and are available in a wide variety of colours.
GREENGUARD Certified products are part of the LEED-CI standards set used by the United States General Building Code. Therefore, specifying GREENGUARD vinyl wall coverings by Omnova on panels manufactured by Partition Systems is a “step in the right direction” towards LEED accreditation.
GREENGUARD Certified vinyl wall coverings from Omnova use specialized processes, vinyl formulations, and inks that have been re-engineered to reduce or neutralize materials that can be a source of VOC’s. Omnova products are tested regularly by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute to ensure that their products continue to achieve low VOC-emission standards.
